Monge's collaboration with U.C.I.S. (Italian Search and Rescue Dog Unit) continues. This association has been coordinating and protecting rescue work and workers in Italy since 1988, ensuring that SAR teams can always intervene immediately at national level in case of emergency. In over 30 years of activity, volunteers and their dogs have carried out more than 3,000 rescue operations, offering their services to the public voluntarily, free of charge and with absolute dedication and professionalism.

The association's dog units are currently present in all Italian regions, with over 100 well-organised support groups under a constant training regime. This unit represents an enormous and invaluable resource, where human generosity, dedication, professionalism and commitment come together with the unrivalled skills of our most loyal and helpful friend, the dog. U.C.I.S. will continue to use Monge kibble to feed its four-legged heroes.
